Jet Airways - New Service to Colombo, Sri Lanka

Jet Airways will launch a new service between Mumbai and Colombo starting on the 5th November 2010.  The flights will be daily and brilliant for those connecting out of other cities such as Johannesburg.  Previously Emirates owned the route but I see Jet Airways closing all of Emirates niche markets soon.

Onboard Jet Airways is fairly decent, entertainment is good but legroom a little dodgy.  Otherwise good value for money.

One last thing, SAA and Jet Airways are partner Airlines, unfortunately you cannot redeem miles on a Jet Airways flight out of Africa on SAA Voyager Miles.



4 Million People Affected by the ASIAN Disasters..

Sad Sad Sad, 4 Million people are reportedly affected by the natural disasters ranging from floods and tsunamis to earthquakes. Governments in this region have been slow to provide assistance to those people affected. Countries include India, Phillipines, Indonesia, Samoan Islands, Vietnam and more. So my question is WILL THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE WINNER FOR 2009 step up and provide some humanitarian assistance? The Iraqi people didnt neeed your help but you went there anyway. Why? Barack Obama himself admitted this on the Letterman show last week. Did you find the weapons of mass destruction, Mr Bush? Oh but I believe North Korea has them, would you dare attacking them? Why doesnt the USA help those countries without any oil interests. Would love to get some comments..
